Ken Pollard has been working on fiddles for over 20 years.  As owner of the Owyhee Mountain Fiddle Shop, in Nampa, Idaho, Ken also makes fiddles, teaches private lessons, and plays for the contra dances in Boise and elsewhere.  He dances when possible at contras, is one of the Scottish Country Dance instructors in the Boise area, and dabbles a bit in Scandinavian dance and English Country Dance.

He’ll be on-site at the Wallowa Fiddle Tunes Camp, and available for repairs, adjustments, and will have a few fiddles on hand, if you’re interested in taking a test-drive.  The types of repairs possible will be somewhat limited, due to the circumstances of being a camp, but Ken has had some experience handling emerencies on-site.  He and his bow-maker friend, Phil Stanley, have operated the repair shop at the Weiser Fiddle Contest Week for over 15 years.
