Amy Fairchild is a composer, music teacher, classically trained pianist and vocalist based in Beaverton, Oregon.  She has a B.A. from Linfield University in Music Theory and Composition and is a member of both Oregon Music Teachers Association and the Cascadia Composers Chapter of NACUSA.
While the piano is her primary instrument, Amy adores the ukulele and the opportunities that it presents as a much more portable instrument.
 
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
 
Class description, limit 14 participants, Students will be cast as a character in a mini-musical, learn three songs as an ensemble, and act their character’s part in a short, original musical created by Amy Fairchild. Students will learn a little bit of choreography, and learn about staging and cues. Prerequisites: Students between the ages of 7-12 who enroll should feel comfortable singing and speaking in front of an audience and be able to take direction well.
