Mary Ambroson has worked with children for over 50 years incorporating art, movement and music in her various teaching settings. As a certified elementary Teacher and certified Montessori Guide, she has been teaching art to children aged 4 to 13 years old at the Josephy Center for Arts and Culture since it opened. Mary currently teaches Friday Youth Art and Building Healthy Family after school art once a week. She also regularly does Music and Movement with children at the Learning Tree Montessori school in Joseph.
Mini-Music/Art Camp, ages 4-8, half day: A mini-camp linking Music, Movement, and Art exposure for younger children. Participants will have an opportunity to express themselves through singing, dance and movement, musical games, and rhythm instruments, as well as an art project and related story. We will connect these activities under the umbrella of a different theme each day (such as; People, Animals, Sea Creatures or Birds). Water and Snacks from home are encouraged for breaks.
