The Wallowa Valley Music Alliance continues their 16th season of Tunesmith Night – a showcase of original music on Saturday, May 14 at 7pm in the historic Odd Fellows Hall in Enterprise, Oregon. The unique appeal of presenting three songwriters, sharing their original work in an intimate a round-robin format is core to the program, and the Music Alliance is happy to announce this program will be open to a live, in-person audience once again. The show will also be streamed live to WVMA’s YouTube channel and the Music Alliance website. (wvmusicalliance.org) The May 14 show features songwriters Bart Budwig, Patrice Webb and Willy Jay Tracy.
Admission to Saturday’s show is $10. No food or drink service provided; BYO. Doors open at 6:30pm.

Bart Budwig has become a major music connector in the Northwest, serving as the resident sound engineer at the OK Theatre. American Standard Time says, “Sometimes when Bart sings, I forget what we’re talking about. I’m sure he knows though. I trust him. He sounds like John Prine, plays like Hoyt Axton, and looks like well…Bart Budwig. He’s a cosmic country lawn gnome. He’s cherubic, cheery, and an old soul. Songs spring from the dreams of his noon day naps, and punch the keys of his typewriter above the OK Theater in Enterprise, Oregon. When words won’t take, he calls ’em in with a bugle of his trumpet, or a strum of soothing guitar.”
Patrice Webb is an award winning singer songwriter from Sandpoint Idaho. Her music is a mix of vibrant storytelling played and sung on a bed of folk, country, swing and acoustic blues. She has won awards in the New England Songwriting Contest, The Walnut Valley New Song contest as well as the Jane Titland Songwriting contest where she is a three-time finalist. Patrice has played folk festivals throughout the United States and her music is receiving international airplay. She has just released a fourth CD entitled The Mountain, The Valley, The River, The Pine, which is an all acoustic tribute to the beautiful State of Idaho where she lives on a rambling 23 acres with her husband and a band of four legged critters.
Bill Tracy, aka Willy Jay Tracy, is a musician and songwriter who resides in Pullman Washington. He is a founding member, singer and guitarist for Moscow, ID based band Mother Yeti (an eclectic and noisy indie rock band). In his solo work, he gets to show his calmer and more plaintive side with songs that blend folk, soul, and Americana. A home recording enthusiast and multi-instrumentalist, Bill occasionally performs accompanied by his own handmade backing tracks and beats. Bill is a music maker for the modern world, unbound by any one genre.
