Holly Sorensen

Holly Sorensen is always up for what she calls musicking. She returned to her birthplace in La Grande at age 20 and began working at the Stereo & Music store where owners Kris and Mike Mallory discovered she sang and pulled her into Kris’s band, the Wasteland Kings. She earned a Bachelor of Music with summa cum laude honors at EOU where she studied vocal performance, joined the chamber choir, performed in musicals and recitals, and worked as a tutor in the electronic music lab. Holly has enjoyed years of musicking around the region with Bag of Hammers, the Wasteland Kings, the Holly Sorensen Band, and the Depot Street Syncopators. For Tunesmith, Holly will debut as a soloist with a ukulele in hand.
