NEW REQUIREMENT FOR REHEARSALS:
There are 34 acting roles in Elves on Strike: The Sequel (see cast of characters).  These roles will be determined after auditions on September 20th.  Students not selected for an acting role will still have a part in either the Elf or Gnome/Leprechaun chorus.  ALL cast and chorus members will receive their scripts/song lyrics/audio recordings of songs when the show is cast in late September.  By accepting and agreeing to a role in Elves on Strike: The Sequel, the student (with parental support at home) is committing to come to the first rehearsal on October 18th FULLY MEMORIZED (all lines and songs).  The rehearsal schedule is shorter than previous productions due to this expectation.  Parents and guardians: please discuss this with your student prior to auditions and their acceptance of the role assigned to them.

For those of you who didn’t get a chance to see our Holiday Youth Musicals, here are the recordings of  Elves on Strike and What Christmas Means, written, produced and directed by by Amy Fairchild and staged at the OK Theatre December 8 & 9, 2023.

The WVMA would like to thank Amy and these talented youth and their families for their dedication and hard work to bring this to the stage of the OK Theatre.

We strive to maintain low registration fees for our music educational programs. However, if our fees present an obstacle, please consider applying for a scholarship.
