Satchel Biggins and the Well Swung presents a selection of songs from the 20's and 30's done in the New Orleans jazz tradition. Through vocal styles ranging from sweet and dreamy, to rough and realistic, the spicy tales of life are told with the nostalgic innocence of another era, while the acoustic quartet swings, stomps, and honestly delivers original and time tested arrangements of well loved songs, both remembered and forgotten. Musicians in the group are Joy Patterson, vocals and Kazookaphone; Matt Bell and Luke McKern, guitars and vocals; Sam Dickerson, upright bass; and Trent Shuey, drums.
